TIRANA, July 12 – Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with the President of France, Emanuel Macron in Vilnius, Lithuania, where the NATO Summit is being held.
In a post on social networks on Wednesday, Rama said that the French president is preparing to come to Tirana.
Tirana will host the summit of the Berlin Process on October 16, an initiative aimed at increasing regional cooperation in the Western Balkans and providing assistance for the integration of Western Balkans countries into the European Union.
In another event, Prime Minister Rama met the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is also in Vilnius. In a post on social networks, Rama informed that the bilateral meeting focused on the situation in the region, especially in the north of Kosovo.
“Lithuania – With President Erdoğan, in the bilateral meeting about the situation in our region and especially in the North of Kosovo,” said Rama on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Rama has been in Vilnius, Lithuania since Tuesday, where the NATO summit is taking place.
