PM and President Trade Harsh Barbs Deepening Gap between Two Main Institutions of Albania

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted on “Twitter” after the statement of the President, Ilir Meta, accusing him again of using the Presidency for the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI).
Earlier on Thursday the Head of State said that Albania cannot be put in the sack by a gang of bandits, oligarchs and arrogants.
“Albania cannot be put in a sack by a gang of bandits, oligarchs and arrogants. FORGET! On April 25, 2021, Albania in the hands of Albanians!” said Meta in his FB post.
In his tit-for-tat reaction the PM was harsh comparing the Presidency as a ‘sack’ and President as sack’s big mouth.
