Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, participated in the opening of the Bled Strategic Forum, themed “A World of Parallel Realities,” where he was welcomed by Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon.
The forum will address current security challenges in the international community, as well as future global issues.
Minister Hasani is invited to speak on a panel titled “A Whole and Free Europe: A Renewed Commitment to European Security.”
Minister Hasani will also attend an informal meeting of Foreign Ministers and Special Envoys for the Western Balkans. This meeting will facilitate an exchange of views on the situation in the Western Balkans region.
During the forum, the Albanian Foreign Minister will hold several bilateral meetings with counterparts and high-ranking officials from European countries.
The Bled Strategic Forum takes place at a time when Slovenia has been elected as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2024-2025 term, highlighting Slovenia’s responsibility to fulfill the duties that come with this role.
