TIRANA, April 9 – Acting PM Dritan Abazovic has asked the newly elected president Jakov Milatovic to cancel the decision on early elections in Montenegro. He said that the date of the elections should be decided in consultation with all political actors, local media reported on Sunday.
He asked newly elected president Jakov Milatovic to cancel his predecessor’s decree for early elections. Abazovic said that Milatovic should gather all political actors and together determine the new date of the elections.
“The date could be at the end of June. The point is that the legitimate president and the legitimate deputies can jointly determine the date of the elections. I don’t think it’s good for Djukanovic to dismiss MPs like that, it’s unacceptable,” said Abazovic.
