TIRANA, March 28 – Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic has announced that Montenegro is ready to host the next round of negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo for the normalization of relations between the two countries, according to the Montenegrin news agency, MINA on Tuesday.
In an interview for “Pavlovic Today” Abazovic said that Montenegro wants to see a satisfactory agreement between its neighbors.
“We are ready to contribute and support the process of normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo,” said Abazovic, adding that Montenegro has a conciliatory role in the region. He said that Montenegro has excellent relations with all neighboring countries and is ready to help in any way, including logistical support.
“Personally, I would like to extend my offer, if there will be new rounds of negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia, to host them in Montenegro,” said Abazovic.
He said that Montenegro is not part of the dialogue, but the European proposal represents a good solution in which both Serbia and Kosovo win.
Abazovic has estimated that the most important thing is the implementation of the Agreement between Serbia and Kosovo. /argumentum.al
