TIRANA, August 20 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha said in a FB post on Saturday that the signing of the agreement with the Serbian Church, contrary to the interests of Montenegro, was the fatal mistake leading to the dismissal of PM Dritan Abazovic by Parliament on Saturday morning.
The attempt to prove himself more Serbian than the Serbs, Berisha noted, brought the end of Abazovic, adding that even the Serbs themselves did not accept him.
“In a fatal mistake, he signed an agreement with the racist Church of Serbia in flagrant opposition to the interests, independence of Montenegro and the interest of Albanians in the neighboring country, an agreement that his Serbian predecessor did not sign,” said Berisha.
According to him, Abazovic’s agreement with the Serbian racist Church proved to be like a kiss with Judas and he was rightly dismissed by the Parliament of Montenegro as Prime Minister.
Berisha noted that Abazovic aligned himself with the ultra-nationalist Serbian president Vucic and the latter’s vassal Edi Rama in the Open Balkans initiative, a project that opposes the Berlin initiative and establishes Serbian hegemony and Russian influence in the region.
Further Berisha said Abazovic is a young politician and his dissmisal cannot be taken as the end of his career. The DP chairman wished that he would learn a lesson and understand that he should not allow his tail (calf) to weigh more than his head and as an Albanian one can never prove himself a Serb more than the Serbs because the latter and the Serbs themselves showed last night with their vote that they do not accept it!
In the meantime, the head of LDSH, Nikollë Camaj said they say that politicians are sold everywhere, here (Montenegro) they are rented.
