Mirush Kabashi was born on April 17, 1948, in Shkodër and grew up in Durrës. He was originally from Gjakova. Kabashi was a versatile actor who played about 100 roles in theater and films.
He was also a presenter of numerous artistic activities. Kabashi was known as one of the greatest interpreters of poetry in Albania and made a significant contribution to Albanian filmography.
He was particularly renowned for his interpretation of Socrates in the “Last Apology of Socrates”. Kabashi’s characters were known for their originality, elegance, and inspiring qualities. He excelled in satirical and comic roles.
