TIRANA, March 29 – The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, has signed with the Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Austria, Alma Zadić, the declaration of cooperation in the field of justice.
Manja described the meeting with his Austrian counterpart as fruitful.
“As an old and precious friend of Albania, we are deeply grateful to the Federal Republic of Austria for its unconditional support for strengthening the rule of law as a guarantee for respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms,” the minister said in a post on social networks released on Wednesday.
The Minister of Justice in the Federal Republic of Austria, Alma Zadić, paid an official visit to Tirana as part of the delegation headed by the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen.
In the meantime the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) held a discussion table in the Ministry of Justice with the institutions that have benefited from projects in the field of justice with the presence of President Alexander Van der Bellen as well as the two ministers Zadić and Manja.
Manja said all the projects that are supported by the Austrian Development Agency in the field of justice and the rule of law for the full implementation of the reform in justice were reviewed during the discussion at the round table. /argumentum.al
