TIRANA, December 21 – The Foreign Minister of Greece, Nikos Dendias, said that a compromise is needed for the sea issue to go to the Hague Court.
He said that in a joint press conference with his counterpart Olta Xhaçka in Tirana on Wednesday.
“We discussed at the political level the agreement which we have as a very important issue. The agreement concluded in principle two years ago provided for a compromise in order to send the case to the Hague Court. The resolution of this issue and the resolution of the law of war and the other two agreements on avoiding incidents at the border and maintaining the border pyramids are what will send a message to the international community,” said Dendias.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka emphasized that there is a willingness to compromise for the referral of this issue to The Hague.
“We have an understanding to address and seek solutions to all issues, one of which was the agreement on the sea. Both parties are willing for a compromise to refer the issues to The Hague,” said Xhacka. /Argumentum.al
