Two important infrastructure projects – the railway line and the Blue Corridor, which connect Albania and Greece, were high on the agenda of the meeting of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure in the Greek government, Costas Karamanlis.
Balluku and her delegation are on an official visit to Athens on Thursday.
“I had the pleasure to hold a tete-a- tete meeting with the Greek Minister which was followed by a wide discussion together with the respective teams on two important infrastructure projects, which connect our two countries, the railway line and the Blue Corridor,” said the minister.
Balluku described these two projects as vital and with a direct impact on the citizens of both countries.
“We expressed our joint commitment to advance these long-awaited initiatives and to work closely together on new projects for the benefit of our countries,” she said./ Argumentum.al
