TIRANA, November 19 – The Minister of Finance and Economy, Ervin Mete, held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, Nik Gjeloshaj, at the same time the Minister of Economic Development, and the Minister of Finance of Montenegro, Novica Vuković.
The meeting took place during Mete’s participation in the Skopje Ministerial, where the new Growth Plan for the Western Balkans was presented by the European Commission.
The Albanian Minister congratulated Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj and Minister Vuković for their position in the new government of Montenegro, elected on October 31, 2023.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the continuation of cooperation between Albania and Montenegro in various fields and with bilateral benefits.
The talks also focused on the progress of joint projects between the two countries, such as those in the field of energy or the Buna River, the connection in the field of transport and cooperation in the field of tourism.
Minister Mete and Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj emphasized the need to create a joint synergy to cooperate within the reforms for the integration process in the European Union. /argumentum.al
