TIRANA, February 20 – The Deputy Director General of the State Police, Sokol Bizhga, received the Director of the Police Academy of Montenegro, Vladimir Stanisic on Monday.
During the meeting, the good relations of cooperation between the police training institutions of both countries were highlighted and the importance of further strengthening of this cooperation was emphasized.
Within the framework of the agreement between the Police Academies of Albania and Montenegro, with the aim of strengthening this cooperation, the parties will work on its concretization on the basis of a plan agreed by the respective police leaders.
The parties expressed their willingness to cooperate on the creation of curricula, the organization of joint training courses, mainly for the Border Police, possible staff exchanges to refer issues, which are the focus of the fight against crime for both countries, etc.
The delegation of the Police Academy of Montenegro also met with the management staff of the Security Academy and discussed the areas in which the cooperation between the two academies can be further strengthened. /Argumentum.al
