TIRANA, October 7 – Albania’s political spectrum both of majority and opposition has condemned the terrorist attack by Hamas against Israel in separate statements.
“We remain determined against terrorism. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and all of Israel,” said Prime Minister Edi Rama on social networks on Saturday.
For her part, the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla said: “The Assembly of Albania strongly condemns the terrorist attack by Hamas against Israel and stands by the Israeli people in these difficult moments.”
“Our prayers, thoughts and support go out to the innocent victims and their families in Israel,” said the Speaker.
In another event, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla held a meeting with the ambassador of Israel in Albania, Galit Peleg on Saturday. Balla emphasized in a reaction that he expressed Albania’s solidarity with the people of Israel to Ambassador Peleg, while the terrorist attacks of Hamas against Israel continue.
“Albania, through Prime Minister Edi Rama, strongly condemned these terrorist attacks and maintains a strong stance against terrorism,” underlined Balla, who added that the prayers of Albanians are for the victims of this treacherous attack, their families and all of Israel. /argumentum.al
