Another high rate of infections with Covid-19 has been recorded during the last 24 hours in Albania.
Out of 4063 tests, 905 people came out with the virus, said a statement released by the health ministry on Saturday. Unfortunately, 3 people aged 58-67 and 81 lost the battle with the virus, it said. There are currently 8866 active virus patients nationwide while 96 patients are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana of which 17 are in a more serious condition. Some 347 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured people to 132,723 since the outbreak of the epidemic in March last year.
Tirana tops the chart of infections with 200 raste, followed by Shkodra 158, Durrës 43 and Korca 39. All neighboring countries like Kosovo and North Macedonia are setting restrictions towards Albania. / argumentum.al
