TIRANA, June 6 – Albania, Germany and France signed on Tuesday the financial cooperation agreement that will contribute to the second phase of supporting the Albanian electricity sector.
The Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku said in her speech that the signed financial agreement will contribute to the second phase of supporting the Albanian electricity sector, which has faced the economic crisis in the last year because of the energy crisis.
Balluku said that “this meeting today is a good moment to reflect and to make a real balance sheet of the reform of the Albanian electricity sector, with the support of Germany and France through their financial institutions KFW and AFD, but also with the support and efforts of the ambassadors of Germany and France. It has undergone a radical transformation in recent years.”
Balluku further said that “the Albanian energy bourse will be a guarantor of energy development and of course the free, transparent and fair trading of electricity in Albania.” /argumentum.al
