TIRANA, September 19 – The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, who is paying an official visit to Germany, was received by the President of the Parliament of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia, NRW, André Kuper on Tuesday.
“The excellent political cooperation between Albania and Germany is being decentralized with the cooperation with the Lands,” Nikolla announced.
According to her, cooperation with Land NRW, one of the most powerful economic regions in Germany and Europe, is an added value for Albania.
Nikolla received support for cooperation between parliamentary committees and deputies, especially young deputies, with a focus on the consolidation of democracy.
The Speaker pointed out that during the meeting they discussed the wide possibilities of cooperation in sectors such as transport services, infrastructure, industry, tourism, education, SMEs, etc.
“The Assembly and Parliament of the Land NRW will encourage and support this cooperation. Bilateral cooperation is intensifying in the framework of the Berlin Process and the summit that will be held in Tirana on October 16 is a historic event for the Europeanization of the region, but also for bilateral cooperation,” Nikolla said. /argumentum.al
