Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday that mercenaries from Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina had been sent to Donbas, a Ukrainian province divided between the Kiev government and Moscow-backed separatists.
Regarding these statements of the head of Russian diplomacy, the former Prime Minister and former Minister of Defense of Albania, Pandeli Majko, reacted on social networks saying the following:
“Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, has made today an unprecedented statement about Albanian “mercenaries” from Albania and Kosovo who are being sent to the Donbas area in Ukraine. Before the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Tirana gives explanations (if it will do so). India’s WION TV channel has made a special chronicle about the “map” of the nationality of the volunteers who have gone to help Ukraine. The wise man immediately does what the fool does in the end! (Machiavelli),” said Majko. / Argumentum.al
