Muslim community celebrated Eid al-Fitr also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” across Albania with the main event held in Tirana’s main square where believers gathered early on Thursday morning to mark the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan and to pray for better days.
The heads of the Muslim institutions carried out the religious ritual conveying to believers and all a healthier and more prosperous year.

In his comment on this event one of the heads of the Muslim community said the mental disorder of a person cannot spoil the joy of the festival of the holiday.
“Such incidents have nothing to do with a believer who has a sound mind,” he said on Thursday.
All state and government and political leaders wished the Muslim believers on the occasion of the holiday using more or less the same ritual congratulations like they have done in previous years.
