TIRANA, September 10 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the situation in Greece after the devastating floods engulfed many regions and caused loss of life and great damage.
In a post on social networks on Sunday, Rama expressed great regret for the lost lives, fraternal condolences to their families and wholehearted solidarity with all those affected by this extraordinary natural disaster.
“Our embassy in Athens announces that citizens located in the affected areas can directly contact the Civil Emergency Management Unit of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection of Greece at the activated telephone number 112, which has been made available to citizens who need help,” informed Rama.
Also, the Prime Minister calls on all Albanian citizens affected by the floods in the problematic areas of Greece to contact Albanian Embassy for any need through the emergency number 0030-6347658183, available to citizens 24/7 and at the email address [email protected].
Even the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, spoke about the floods that have affected several regions of Greece.
“The large and destructive floods in several regions of Greece have caused loss of life and great damage. We pray for the lost lives, their families and express our solidarity with all those affected by this natural disaster,” said Balla in a post on social networks on Sunday. /argumentum.al
