There will be agricultural plots of land in the surrounding schools where vegetables will be planted and not only grass grow in them.
This was the revelation made by Prime Minister Edi Rama who said agricultural plots will be arranged in schools during an inspection of the new schools “Vaçe Zela” and “Kristo Frashëri” in Tirana on Thursday.
According to the Prime Minister, there will be not only grassy areas, but also vegetables will be planted, describing it as a natural laboratory. Rama promised that within this mandate of his Socialist Partyarty government there will be significant changes to education.
Rama revealed that agricultural parcels will be applied in schools. There will be not only grassy spaces, but also vegetables will be planted, describing it as a natural laboratory, he said.
“Within this mandate we will have very important changes. The last element is the construction of agricultural plots in schools. All these spaces around, inside the inner walls of this complex can not be just grassy spaces,” he said. According to him, they will be part of the space for growing vegetables to enable students to have an initial knowledge of the land, its value.
“And then little by little to even modestly create the school agricultural venture. It will be worthwhile to learn this part of trading products and it would be a fantastic natural laboratory,” Rama said.
