TIRANA, July 15 – The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, has participated in the reception organized by the French Embassy in Tirana on the occasion of the National Holiday of France, known in history as Bastille Day, which marks the beginning of the French Revolution.
In her speech, Nikolla said that France is a friendly country of Albania, an important partner in NATO and a strong supporter of its journey towards the EU.
“The French Revolution is an event of historical importance, not only for France, but for all humanity and serves as a synonym of the fight against tyranny and celebration of the values of freedom, equality and fraternity,” Nikolla said.
