“History is talking and screaming about our fate,” has said the Albanian Forum for Economic Development in Serbia (AFEDS) in a recent statement which announced that Ms. Sonja Biserko, one of the authors of the report on the situation of Albanians in Serbia, established direct contacts with the institutional authorities of Kosovo.
Sonja Biserko is a Serbian campaigner for human rights. She is the founder and president of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia.
“Thus, after the release of the written report they (Kosovo officials) had the opportunity to hear aloud the dramatic conclusions about the ethnic cleansing of Albanians with an emphasis on Medvedja, the laboratory of this cleansing,” said the statement expressing the confidence that the senior officials of the state of Kosovo heard from the mouth of a Serbian civil society activist what has not been heard from the so-called neighborhood politicians who serve as a ‘decoration’ in patriotic events.
According to the statement, the Parliament of Kosovo should also listen to Ms. Biserko and why not produce a binding Resolution on politics!
“We want to believe that the Kosovo leadership will listen to and implement Biserko’s number one advice: the Albanians of Serbia are hostage to the Brussels’ dialogue. Consider their fate in Brussels, honorable Kosovo politicians!” stressed the AFEDS’ statement.
“History is talking and screaming about our fate! It has been doing it for a long time, but where are the ears to hear it and the eyes to see it?” concluded the statement released by AFEDS.
