TIRANA, November 29 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, reacted on the protest in Podgorica, Montenegrin capital, against the Open Balkans initiative.
According to Berisha on Tuesday, this project aims to establish Serbian homogeneity and Russian influence in the region.
“This project, which has as its main goal the establishment of Serbian hegemony and Russian influence in the region, is openly supported by the dictator, Vladimir Putin and his (foreign) minister Lavrov,” said Berisha, who added that it is also supported by George and Alex Soros, opposed the Berlin process and sows strife and conflict in the WB region.
“The Democratic Party of Albania welcomes and fully supports the protests of the citizens of Podgorica against the Open Balkans and warns Edi Rama and his boss Vucic that it will not accept summits of this destabilizing initiative in Albania. Full support to the citizens of Montenegro!” concluded Berisha. /Argumentum.al
