The Minister held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, Augusto Santos Silva, who holds the rotating EU presidency.
Xhaçka informed that she expressed gratitude for the efforts and kindness of Portugal to advance the integration of Albania and the entire Western Balkans into the European Union.

No mention was made by the Minister of North Macedonia if the Conference of Albania with the EU will take place although Bulgaria keeps blocking such an event from the neighboring country.
