TIRANA, September 4 – The Office of the EU Delegation in Tirana announced on Monday that Ambassador Luigi Soreca, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, met with the EU delegation team as he began to lead the delegation until the arrival of the new head of delegation in the coming months.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be in Tirana again at this particularly important moment for the enlargement of the EU and for the process of Albania’s integration into the EU. At the same time the summit of the Berlin Process is going to be held in Tirana,” said Soreca.
“The European Union firmly stands by Albania in consolidating the achieved progress, deepening the country’s transformation and promoting important reforms that will bring Albania into the EU,” said Ambassador Soreca. /argumentum.al
