How wonderful and what a shame, oh God!
It was said that Brussels held a summit outside the territory of the United Europe for the first time. And Tirana was picked up for this.
How beautiful, oh God, how beautiful!
But this day came to us with a parallel, which also happened in Tirana for the first time. Having clearly expressed itself for the values of the summit and the hospitality of the high dignitaries, the united opposition simultaneously organized a political protest against the governance way.
As paradoxical as it may seem, the protest was an unusual display of the Europeanization of our public opinion, the maturity for the rule of law. Therefore, it found international approval. How beautiful, oh God, how beautiful!
Yes, ecstatic day, if it were not stained. Because, who knows why our eyes are apparently hurt by The Beauty and we are taught to either shit on it or kill it.
It was said that precisely for the territorial transfer, this summit would enter the Political History of Europe. Well, Tirana too. How good, oh God, how good!
But it was not meant to be as a black stain, indelible in the criminal content, entered the Political History of Albania on that day.
The leader of the opposition, the leader who has hundreds of thousands of followers, the historical protagonist of thirty-two years of developments, the holder of the highest state functions, the longest-serving politician and the oldest one, was physically abused.
What a shame, oh God, what a shame! And how ominous, too. There was shock inside and abroad, but the full meaning of this act has not yet come to light.
Since long time ago, I have been critical of Mr. (Sali) Berisha in newspapers and televisions, I have disagreed with his stances many times. In a case of violence, when journalists of daily “Koha Jone” were imprisoned, I remember how I expressed myself in the press. After mentioning the journalists by name, I immediately added: “I also feel handcuffed, as long as…”
But today I feel that cruel fist on my face. It hurts me and I suffer spiritually, because everything cruel is creepy, too. And this is how I would express myself even if it happened to any party, not only to the chairman of the DP, not only to the chairman of the SP, but also to other officials, by the way, to MPs Balla or Alibeaj.
Regarding other questions, those of the human conscience, hush…!
