TIRANA, December 25 – “On this blessed day, the word of the angels resounds with simplicity, gentleness and strength: Glory to the heavenly heights and peace to the good-willed people on earth. Unity and value for our Albanian family that gathers on these holidays. May the Albanian youth rediscover their future in our own land because the future belongs to us,” was the message of the head of the Metropolitan archdiocese of Tirana-Durres, Arjan Dodaj. In Tirana, Dodaj conducted the Christmas mass for the Catholic faithful at the St. Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday night. Meanwhile, the mass of Orthodox believers was held on Sunday morning in the “Resurrection of Christ” Cathedral. Archbishop Dodaj emphasized that the Albanian youth must rediscover the future in their country.
Further the Archbishop, Dodaj said the poor should never give up in the face of the sorrow that sometimes confronts their lives.
“The divine child has a message of peace in the consequences that the war is sowing, where there is the crackling of weapons, even more the cry of these children calls us for reflection,” Monsignor Arjan Dodaj said. /Argumentum.al
