TIRANA, March 28 – The chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, has welcomed the visit of the president of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen to Shkodra, who was in the largest city of northern Albania on Tuesday morning at the end of his 3- day visit to this Balkan country.
In a message on Twitter released on Tuesday, Meta emphasized that the two countries have a strong historical relationship.
“I appreciate the visit of the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, who is a good friend of Albania, as an indicator of the strong and historical relations between our two countries,” said Meta.
The FP head, a former president of Albania, said he wanted to emphasize in particular Austria’s investment for the professional school “Peter Mahringer” in Shkodra.
“It is a model that should serve us as an example of building a quality professional education throughout the country that responds to the needs of the labor market,” said Meta. /argumentum.al
