Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with an Albanian delegation led by Belinda Balluku, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Albania across various domains.
The two emphasized the importance of the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Albania held in Baku.
The parties discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two countries in economic, trade, energy, investment, transport, culture, health, tourism, and other fields.
The meeting was also attended by Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov.
Through a post on social networks, Deputy Prime Minister Balluku informed that during the meeting the further increase of cooperation was discussed.
“We reconfirmed the excellent relations between our two countries, as well as the need to further increase bilateral cooperation through the implementation of a number of projects in important sectors”, declared Balluku.
Balluku expressed his belief that through the Joint Committee, our two countries will further strengthen the relations between them./azertag-argumentum.al
