TIRANA, September 3 – The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party (DP), Gazment Bardhi, has called the deputies of the Democratic Party to a meeting in search of unity.
“The Albanian opposition is facing a corrupt government linked to organized crime, which has undermined free and fair elections through illegal methods. For this reason, the public interest and the protection of the interests of the citizens requires that every oppositionist concentrate his energies only on confronting the regime of (PM) Edi Rama,” said Bardhi.
According to him, this situation dictates the need that each of the opposition MPs surpass themselves in order to offer and find solutions in the common interest of all the opposition and every citizen who wants to change the government.
“For this reason, in the capacity of the chairman of the DP parliamentary group, at the start of this parliamentary session, I take the initiative to call on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, a joint meeting of all opposition deputies without any exception,” Bardhi said. /argumentum.al
