Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted on the result of the by-elections in which his candidate of the House of Freedom coalition, Bardh Spahia, was declared the winner in the Municipality of Shkodra in local elections on March 6. Founder of Democratic Party (DP) Berisha said that (Lulzim) Basha is the only democrat in Albania who does not think he has lost. Asked by reporters on Monday if he will go to the DP headquarters, Berisha said that he will announce in the coming days if something like this will happen.
“Of course, the result was achieved in the most difficult conditions in 30 years after the DP faced in these elections everywhere not only with the head of Medusa (PM Edi Rama) but also with his crutch Lulzim Brava (lock), who today is the only democrat in Albania that thinks he has not lost. He is declaring every loss as not a loss. These elections were the most important struggle for every democrat.
