TIRANA, October 6 – The head of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha touched upon the statement of PM Edi Rama about the cyber attack and why the implementation of Article 5 of NATO was not requested by the government head in his speech in Thursday’s plenary session of the Assembly.
Berisha said that Rama should first ask for this article to extract data from patronagists.
“He said he would ask NATO to activate Article 5, (Socialist MP) Pandeli (Majko). If you ask about Iran, ask for Article 5 of NATO for the patronagists. Who released the data of the patronagists, did Iran publicize them or did the Ayatollah of the Prime Minister’s Office release them? Arrogance, fraud, theft and only theft,” Berisha declared.
Referring to the price of energy, Berisha, a former PM, accused Rama of having increased the price even for churches and mosques.
“Do you know why Albanians get bread at the highest price in Europe? They get it because you increased the energy from 71 to 225 lek per kWh for the bakers in January 2022,” said Berisha.
Further on he said that Rama had made a terrible increase in the energy prices of churches, mosques, religious institutions whose prices have been raised from 71 lek to 225 lek per kWh.
“What happened to the churches, mosques, or did you return to the instincts of your fathers (former communist leaders?). There are dozens of churches, cathedrals, mosques on which you have imposed a price of 225 lek per kWh. You have turned back to paternal instincts – mercilessness, arrogance, theft. This is what you offer to Albanians today,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
