TIRANA, October 9 – The chairman of the Reestablishment group in the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha said at the meeting of the chairmanship held on Monday that PM Edi Rama is using Lulzim Basha, former DP head and chairman of a faction of DP, as hostage to have the opposition under control.
“Edi Rama will control everything, all the powers in this country. He has created what is called fake-opposition and he is using a hostage disfigured by any kind of moral, political, human integrity, who is called Lul Brava (Lulzim Basha),” said Berisha.
In addition, Berisha said that the analysis in the party should have the main goal of motivating democratic supporters, members, sympathizers for the beginning of a sustainable struggle, of a powerful popular movement as soon as possible, which should have the removal of Edi Rama from power as the main goal.
He said that in the meantime the denial of the basic constitutional rights of the opposition continues. “The attempt to completely control the opposition, which represents 600,000 men and women, who voted as idealists, despite the appalling electoral industry and appalling fear machine, continues ferociously,” he said.
Berisha also declared that he welcomes the summit of the Berlin Process in Tirana, while adding that “we will do everything to present the truths of Edi Rama to the esteemed European audience.” /argumentum.al
