During his speech with the Democrats in the area of Vau i Dejës in the northern region of Shkodra on Sunday the founder of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha asked the US representatives in Tirana how it is possible to support Rama, when drugs and corruption expand in Albania. “How is it possible that Albania was full of drugs and you did not say a word? How is it possible that when the Italian justice brought the file of involvement in the drug trafficking of ministers, you compared these trials with the communist processes? How is it possible that corrupt scandals erupt in Albaniaania and you do not say a word, a statement,” said Berisha. In addition he said how it is possible that large foreign investors leave Albania and US diplomats do not say a word. “How is it possible that 550,000 citizens are fleeing this country and you do not say a word against Rama?”
Further on Berisha wondered how it is possible that Albanians cannot get justice and the US Embassy supports the failed justice reform and supports a man who went from loss to loss.
“Do not think that they support Lulzim Basha. They do support Edi Rama. We can not accept this. Edi Rama is supported because he is a friend of Soros. We are friends with the USA. This is the primary practice of the USA,” Berisha said during his speech.
