TIRANA, April 17 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP) Sali Berisha declared on Monday after the meeting with the head of the ODIHR Mission, Audrey Glover, that the efforts to leave the country without opposition had failed.
He said that during the meeting, the opposition presented all the issues that it considers very important for a normal election process.
“I had a meeting with the Head of Mission of ODIHR, Mrs. Gover, where I informed her r about the failure of the efforts to leave the country without opposition, the DP’s determination to advance the electoral process as we have expressed to the Albanians,” said Berisha. According to him, Mrs. Glover was in the meeting to be informed about the views, facts and developments of these elections in Albania according to DP.
“We presented all the issues that we consider very important for a normal election process,” said DP chairman Berisha. /Argumentum.al
