TIRANA, January 9 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, has published an investigative article that reveals the link between power and corrupt affairs.
Berisha pointed out on Monday that the directors that Arben Ahmetaj had in the institutions he ran were employed by the Financial Supervision Agency, where the director is Ervin Mete.
The latter has strong ties with Arben Ahmetaj.
Alda Klosi, from whom the sanitation worker extorted over 500 thousand euros, turns out to be employed by the AMF.
Another former director of Ahmetaj employed by Ervin Mete is Mimoza Kaçi.
The investigation was done by Bold News.
“An interesting part of this story is also a distant issue that dates back to 2004, long before Ervin Mete was an important part of the administration,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
