TIRANA, February 25 – A week before the national protest called in Tirana, the head of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, went down to the party rank and file once again to talk with the democrats of Tepelena and Gjirokastra.
The head of the democrats explains for those of his supporters who have not yet understood that the revolution that the DP has declared to have started does not mean the overthrow of power by violence.
“Those who think that the revolution is only fighting do not have a clear concept of the democratic revolution. We will not give up on the elections, we will throw Edi Rama and his company to the dustbin of history,” said Berisha.
Berisha lists how Edi Rama has ruined Albania and the Albanians through, as he says, thefts and government corruption, comparing it to his 2005-2013 government. “He who steals from you, he hates you. He considers those he steals from to be inferior beings.”
Referring to the interview of the former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj on a local TV, the chief democrat reminds his supporters that he brought two messages that prove the involvement of all SP leaders in the incinerator affair.
“He told Edi Rama, the head of Meduza, about the incinerators, you and only you. The other side of the coin is that he wanted to wash his hands. I didn’t sign here, I didn’t sign there. Lies. When they threatened Arben Ahmetaj, he came out and told us about Erion Veliaj, so he told SPAK to follow the money,” said Berisha.
He reminded the Prime Minister that he is not even fulfilling the constitutional obligations imposed by his position, that of leading executive meetings and going to Parliament. /Argumentum.al
