TIRANA, November 7 – Young people are making their way to England by rafts as they find no reason to stay in Albania, said the chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha in a statement to the media on Monday, while he accused the government of PM Edi Rama that he is killing the hopes of young people.
“This mass exodus of Albanians is dictated by this government that has no law and morality, by this government that kills the hope of Albanians, by this government that hands over all the police systems, TIMS, MEMEX, the entire 30-year file of the police, as it opens the doors for mass deportation to other countries, as it opens the doors for the export of crime to the four corners of the world, wears the garb of a pseudo-patriot and swears like an ordinary person in the streets,” said Berisha.
According to Berisha, Rama should know well that the export of crime is one of the most serious acts that a country can do to its neighbors and other countries. “The fight against organized crime is one of the major obligations of security and international cooperation. In this context, I condemn with the greatest force, these attitudes which are at the foundation of the Albanian drama that is played out in La Manche.”
He rejected any labeling of Albanians because, according to him, the government of Edi Rama is criminal and the arch criminal is Edi Rama himself, his ministers and officials, who has gone to such a degree as to eliminate all control at the country’s borders.
“See what happens in the Port of Durrës. For six consecutive months, the port was left out of control. Tons of cocaine landed. They went towards Europe… The port has turned into the biggest cocaine port in the world and Edi Rama tries to cover this up with ordinary insults, attacks and the worst vocabulary used by an ordinary man,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
