TIRANA, October 18 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, declared on Wednesday after the plenary session of the Assembly that the de facto opposition has been excluded from the parliament as a sovereign opposition, in which, in accordance with the Constitution, it is up to it to fulfill its obligations to citizens who voted against the government.
In addition Berisha told journalists that with the unconstitutional decisions of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has undertaken for the first time in history to appoint the co-chairman he wants for the opposition and not the one chosen by the opposition itself, to appoint and snatch the post of the chairman of the parliamentary group, with the total blocking of any investigative parliamentary initiative which is a constitutional mission of the opposition.
Berisha also spoke about the stance of the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic towards Kosovo. He said that the attitudes towards Kosovo of the Croatian president and Edi Rama are like night and day.
Croatia is a true friend of Albania and its president, Milanovic has proven his more friendly feelings towards the Albanians and Kosovo through his stance at the United Nations, said Berisha. /argumentum.al
