TIRANA, July 15 – Prime Minister Edi Rama will host an informal meeting with the leaders of the Western Balkans as well as the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Good Neighborhood, Oliver Varhely in Tirana on Monday (July 17), Report TV reported. The meeting takes place in the framework of the preparations for the Berlin Process Summit that will be held in Tirana on October 16 this year.
Report TV learned that the leaders of the region have confirmed their participation in the meeting, the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, the Prime Minister of Bosnia and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Bernabic. The same sources said that it has not yet been confirmed whether Prime Minister Albin Kurti will come to the informal meeting. Kurti did not meet PM Rama when he was in Kosovo in the frame of a WB tour a few days ago.
Monday’s meeting in Tirana was announced by Edi Rama during the Balkan tour held a few days ago, while Rama also confirmed a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron at the NATO Summit in Lithuania. /argumentum.al
