TIRANA, September 13 – Prime Ministers of Albania and Kosovo Edi Rama and Albin Kurti held a meeting in Tirana on Tuesday. The two heads of government of Albania and Kosovo met at government villa 31 in the area of the former Block in the capital of Albania.
The meeting was unannounced. There is still no information about what was discussed between Rama and Kurti.
“What we were able to learn just a few minutes after the meeting is that the focus of the discussion was, in addition to other bilateral issues, the seaport of Durrës, which will be integrated with the Durrës-Pristina railway and the Dry Port in Pristina,” said TV Klan after the meeting which lasted 90 minutes.
It is reported that the energy crisis seems to have been on the agenda because Kosovo has needed help from Albania to cope with the energy crisis even before.
Kurti was accompanied by the Minister of Finance of Kosovo in this informal meeting. There was no press release at the end of the meeting between the two heads of government,
“There was no statement for the media, and they were not even allowed to approach the villa, making this informal meeting still unclear at least for the media regarding the details,” said the report.
Meanwhile, ministers from Albania were not seen at this meeting.
As it is learned by the media in Kosovo, Albin Kurti had a press conference in Pristina on Tuesday morning and interrupted it in the middle saying that “he had to leave for an urgent meeting”.
