Opposition Claims PM Hides Reality…
Opposition continues to be critical with regard to the issue of testing process holding the government responsible for hiding the reality.
Former Democratic Party MP Bardh Spahia accused government authorities on Wednesday when he declared that samples taken on Tuesday in the city of Shkodra had not been processed. According to Spahia, a doctor by profession, 54 samples were taken and none of them was analyzed.
“Hiding the infected persons is a repeated criminal act and time is showing that it is not a coincidence! Edi Rama is playing with the health of citizens, especially with that of the people of Shkodra, turning this battle with COVID-19 into a sick personal battle for figures’ manipulation,” said Spahia in one of the harshest accusations against the government head. Shkodra, in northern Albania, is considered as a stronghold of the opposition Democratic Party.
According to figures provided by health ministry on Wednesday the number of infected people remained unchanged at a time when 54 test samples were taken in Shkodra on Tuesday.
“There are strong suspicions that none of them has been analyzed! This is done to keep the figures at the level that Edi Rama wants, hiding the reality,” said Spahia asking if there is anything more monstrous than such an act. /argumentum.al
