TIRANA – Two infected persons with coronavirus passed away on Thursday night and Friday morning taking to 8 the number of fatalities in Albannia where 12 cases were reported during the last 24 hours a drop as compared to a day before when the figure of the affected stood at 28.
The Director of the Institute of Health Public (ISHP), Albana Fico told the media on Friday that the total number of the infected persons at national level is 186 while 102 tests were made over the last 24 hours. In her detailed update she said that 77 patients are at the infectious hospital in Tirana and 5 of them are in intensive therapy.
Meanwhile Ms. Fico unveiled the news that a doctor and a nurse had recovered rising to 31 the total number of patients who have been cured in Albania. According to her, this is a positive sign.
The map of the spread of the virus has extended to the town of Puka, northern Albania, while the highest number of cases continues to be in Tirana, the capital with a population estimated to be over 1 million./argumentum.al
