TIRANA, October 20 – The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, who paid a two-day official visit to Albania, visited the museum city of Berat accompanied by President Bajram Begaj.
According to the announcement of the press office of the president, Milanovic became closely acquainted with the history and traditions of the city of “one on one windows”.
The mayor of Berat, Ervin Demo, spoke to the presidents on a part of the city’s history, cultural heritage and also religious coexistence.
“As proof of the latter, we visited the King Mosque and the Church of St. Mary Vllaherna. During the visit to the magnificent Castle, we had the pleasure of meeting Mother Leta, the local elderly and handy lady, who welcomed Croatian President by offering him some of the traditional sweets prepared by herself,” said Demo.
During the visit, Milanovic was accompanied by the First Lady of Croatia, Sanja Music Milanovic, and the official delegation. /argumentum.al
