The Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of North Macedonia, Bojan Maricic held a meeting in Tirana with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Olta Xhacka.
In a statement on social networks regarding the meeting, Xhacka stressed that they discussed increasing cooperation with the European Union (EU).
“Very good discussion with the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs of North Macedonia, Bojan Maricic, to increase cooperation with the European Union in order to position the region closer to the EU at this challenging time, including the holding of the first Intergovernmental talks,” wrote Minister Xhacka on social networks on Thursday. Meanwhile, it is reported that Maricic met with some representatives of the Government of Albania and other officials of the country.
The number two of the government of Skopje also participated in the Conference under the topic: “Balkan Dialogues Initiative – EU Integration Perspectives of the Western Balkans in Times of Crisis” held in Tirana on 16-17 March 2022. He held a speech in its deliberations. /Argumentum.al
