TIRANA, October 20 – The Deputy of the Democratic Party (DP), Agron Shehaj, made a denunciation against Prime Minister Edi Rama in the plenary session of the Assembly on Thursday.
Shehaj revealed that the government has sent the police to his business in Tirana to shut it down after he denounced the foreign minister, Olta Xhaçka as a strategic investor, as well as the connections of the former minister of energy and deputy, Damian Gjiknuri and his cousin for declaring them strategic investors.
In his speech, Shehaj emphasized that he will not remain silent and will demand his right to Strasbourg.
According to him, he decided to speak out in the Assembly because this hall is the cause of the attack. “Everything started from here, from the denunciations I made from this pulpit about the affairs of this government and its ministers,” Shehaj said, showing photos in which state police were seen inside his business premises.
He said that everything was done without any order from the Prosecutor’s Office, without any order from the court and without any order or letter from anyone.
“Police forces entered a private environment and took out the employees, terrorizing them without any legal mandate. This is Edi Rama’s police state that will intimidate and silence the opposition MPs and anyone who tries to raise their voice through violence and the political use of the police,” said the DP deputy.
“Edi Rama, Xhaçka or Gjiknuri should be clear. I have no intention of being silent, I will continue to say what honest citizens want – the truth – and I will tell it to your face, as it is,” said Shehaj. /Argumentum.al
