TIRANA, April 29 – After the meeting in Librazhd, where he presented the candidate of the “Together We Win” coalition for the municipality of this city on Saturday, the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, paid tribute at the memorial of two poets, Vilson Blloshmi and Genc Leka.
Berisha was accompanied by the head of the branch of the Democratic Party in Librazhd, Ilirjan Alliu, the candidate of the coalition “Bashkë Fitomje,” Shefki Çota, and the Political Secretary of the Elbasan district of the Freedom Party, Edmond Haxhinasto, and many citizens at this ceremony.
On June 13, 1977, the Librazhd District Court sentenced the two poets Vilson Blloshmi and Genc Leka to death by firing squad, a decision which was implemented on July 17, 1977. The charge was for propaganda against the communist regime of that time. /Argumentum.al
