TIRANA, June 9 – Prime Minister Edi Rama’s draft for the Serbian Association in the north of Kosovo was written by Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic, has said the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha.
Berisha said in the weekly press conference on Friday that Rama and Vucic want the division of Kosovo, but added that this will not happen.
“I haven’t even read it (the draft-statute) and I have no interest. I say to those who try to use Rama – you only complicate the solution of the problem,” said the DP head.
According to him, the issue of the Association is not a draft issue because Rama’s draft was certainly written by Vucic. “This was done to tell (Kosovo PM) Albin Kurti that you do not even accept what Tirana has drafted. This is a knife in the back of Kosovo that Aleksander Vucic, the doctrinaire of genocide, manages to stab through his vassal, Edi Rama,” said Berisha.
Further he said that Brussels, Washington, London, Paris, Berlin have the most excellent groups of experts, but for the sake of truth that draft should be drawn up by those who will implement it.
“On this occasion, I can say that if the process of negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia proceeded within two years with an unstoppable course, since 2013 it has turned into Penelope’s fabric. This (Rama) aims at the division of Kosovo in tune with Vucic. But the division of Kosovo is never an option. So Edi Rama’s mask fell off, Kosovo made its own reaction in unison,” said Berisha. /argumentum.al
