Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha in communication with the media after the meeting of the parliamentary group on Saturday announced that there was a long responsible discussion on the situation in the ranks of the Democratic Party (DP).
“I have found that what I told you today at the beginning of the meeting unites us, what I told you yesterday, and the day before yesterday, the determination to do everything to unite the Democratic Party. And without a doubt, as the chairman of the Democratic Party, the main responsibility falls on me,” said Basha.
Asked about his resignation, Basha stressed that the parliamentary group made an analysis of the situationp on Saturday
“It simply took into consideration the situation. It was not aimed at cutting heads or searching excuses. And neither am I here to make excuses. In the same way we will move forward. As far as I am concerned, I am available to solve everything,” said Basha, who avoided to mention the fact that the number of deputies and senior party officials asking for his resignation is increasing day by day. /Argumentum.al
