The time of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha as a politician is over. This was stated by the chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha in an interview on Vizion Plus TV on Monday.
Basha accused his protege Sali Berisha of having started to speak with a dirty language and with a more denigrating language than that of Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Basha added that the path chosen by Berisha is totally contrary to the principles and values of the Democratic Party. According to him, Berisha is using the Democrats for his personal concerns. “Sali Berisha has demonstrated for the last two months that he is a man and a politician who has run out of time, he is out of time. He is out of time with the way he behaves,” said Basha who has caused waves of wonder as he has turned into the arch enemy of a person who was confronted with DP to make Basha party head.
“The path that Sali Berisha has chosen has nothing to do with the values and principles that this party stands for. He has done this because he has chosen to do everything to use the Democratic Party and the Democrats for his interest. I can not allow this and forgive any honest democrat,” said Basha whose past is linked to many corrupt affairs on top of which is the 200m Euro theft in the National Road project.
The shadow of Berisha, it was said by Socialists, saved Basha from prison. This remains a dark hidden part of Basha’s corrupt affairs and of course Berisha’s involvement. / Argumentum.al
